Saint-Laurent Energies Inc. (Saint-Laurent), a company jointly owned by EDF Energies Nouvelles Canada Inc. (EDF), Hydromega Services Inc. (Hydromega), and RES Canada Inc., has appointed Stephane Boyer as chief executive officer (CEO). Boyer has more than 15 years of experience within the world of energy. Most recently, he served as VP at Hydromega. At Hydromega, he also served a member of the senior management team and responsible for development activities.

At Hydromega, he was engaged in project development, engineering, commercial transactions including off-take agreements, regulatory and corporate matters. Prior to Hydromega, Boyer worked at the French electrical utility EDF where he held managerial and project management positions.

Boyer has received his civil engineering degree from Institut National des Sciences Appliquees de Lyon in France.
