Situated adjacent to the east of Canada Carbon, the Miller Graphite project is said to host hydrothermal vein type graphite.
Caribou King Resources operates Calumet project within the surrounding area of the Miller Graphite project.
The acquisition is in line with Saint Jean’s strategy to develop its portfolio in such a way that lowers overall cost base as well as enable it to offer a wide range of quality products.
Saint Jean Carbon said: "This work includes appropriate drill programs, feasibility studies, economic modeling, completed NI 43-101’s, ongoing R&D efforts, and of course continued close contact with the graphite customer base."
The proposed deal is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
