Graphenea’s products include dispersions, substrates, and graphene wafers and with the deal, Saint Jean Carbon expects to broaden its presence in the graphene marketplace through Graphenea’s experience and contacts within the carbon and graphite sectors.

Saint Jean expects the future product applications for graphene to improve several technological products and manufacturing processes.

The company also said that it is expanding its relationship with partners including Graphenea to establish graphene manufacturing capability in Canada.

It has also contacted a research facility in the country that produces cost effective graphene and plans to license more production technology .
