The new advisory board’s brief is to discuss new technologies and trends relating to the expansion of renewables and outline the political conditions for this. Nominees will contribute their individual expertise to the council, which is to meet on a half-yearly basis.
Werner Schnappauf, director general of the Federation of German Industries, will chair the RWE Innogy advisory board, while Michaele Hustedt, moderator of the Bioenergy Network, will be the vice chairmain.
