Reuters reported that Ukraine’s Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko had earlier demanded that Russia clear all intermediaries, as they are increasing gas prices for Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Prime Minsiter’s tough stance on the gas intermediary issue was also responsible for the heightening of tensions again between the countries and Gazprom’s brief halving of gas flows to Ukraine, reports Reuters.
