Russian and Georgian officials are scheduled to meet at the end of July to discuss the restoration of power plants, including the Ingur hydro plant, in the breakaway Georgian region of Abkhazia, according to the RIA Novosti news agency.
The work will be financed by Russia, with Georgia to repay this investment with electricity exported to southern Russia.
