RusHydro and Power Machines are expanding their working relationship following the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement at the recent St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The agreement will see the firms cooperate in terms of manufacturing and delivery of electric power equipment for RusHydro and its subsidiaries’ needs. They will also study possible options for long-term delivery contracts, joint participation in R&D projects and further participation in international projects.

"RusHydro and Power Machines are bound together by the longtime partnership relations," commented Nikolay Shulginov, Chairman of the Management Board – General Director of RusHydro. "The hydraulic power equipment of our partners from Saint Petersburg is installed at many RusHydro HPPs. It is expected to replace such equipment gradually where its lifecycle is expired. All of this constitutes a part of RusHydro large-scale program of the comprehensive renovation aimed at improving reliability and safety of our facilities."
