The company will supply 1200 Rotork IQPro intelligent electric valve actuators for phase one of the new power station complex.

The power station, owned by the China Nuclear Power Engineering Company, is expected to deliver a capacity of 16,000MW.

The IQPro actuators will operate butterfly, gate and check valves on ancillary plant ncluding high pressure systems serving the station’s pressurised water reactors.

Rotark is a provider of Rotork Controls, Fluid Systems, Gears and Rotork Site Services for the nuclear industry.
