Rolls-Royce has signed a contract for two RB211-6761 Dry Low Emission (DLE) gas turbine generating sets to power a Combined Cycle Heat and Power plant (CHP) at a new industrial park in the town of Levice, Slovakia.

The project, developed by local engineering project management company ADATO, will supply around 80 MWe to the industrial park and the public electricity grid while two heat recovery steam generators designed by ADATO will provide 50 tonnes per hour of high pressure and low pressure steam.

Delivery is scheduled for the end of this year, with the cogeneration plant expected to be operational in the first quarter of 2007. The value of the contract is more than $20 million.
