Rohm and Haas Company (Rohm and Haas), a specialty materials company, will display its eco-sustainability solutions for the industrial, decorative, and building and construction coatings segments at Interlakokraska 2009. The solutions to display include new low VOC hybrid binder, environmentally- friendly exterior insulation finishing system (EIFS) products, water-borne primer and binder range, low VOC mid-shear viscosity builder with less sensitivity and formaldehyde-free solutions.

Interlakokraska 2009, the International Specialized Exhibition for Paints and Coatings, will be held in Moscow from March 10 to March 13, 2009.

The key principles of Rohm and Haas’s operation are: sustainability, lasting quality and high performance. The company is focusing on key areas such as, opaque polymers, binders, rheology modifiers, dispersants, biocides, adhesives and monomers.

The technical experts and company’s key management, incorporating Misha Shukov, Rohm and Haas country manager for Russia, and Olivier Choulet, PCM sales director, EMEA, will be present at the booth and will be available to discuss company’s innovations in following coatings market segments and product lines:

Architectural/Decorative: New low VOC hybrid binder for the decorative gloss applications, and also a new low odour technology platform to formulate primers and top-coats for interior wall paints or wood;

Building/Construction: New range of high-performance, environmentally-advanced EIFS (exterior insulation finishing systems) products for a wide range of finishes on exterior residential and commercial building surfaces;

Industrial Coatings: New water-borne primer and binder range for industrial metal and wood, combining high-performance with the possibility of an eco-profile, and representing an attractive alternative to solvent-based systems;

Hiding technology: New development for use in alkyd emulsion high gloss paint;

Rheology modifiers: New low VOC mid-shear viscosity builder with less sensitivity to viscosity drop upon colorant addition;

Biocides: New formaldehyde-free solutions that contribute to protecting water-borne coatings against microbial contaminations even under the harshest conditions.
