The assay results are from channel samples taken from the Aumacho pegmatite, and are the highest grade results to date for this channel sampling program. Three (3) channels were cut and eighteen (18) samples taken.
Rock Tech's CEO, Martin Stephan, commented, "The channel sample assay results from the Aumacho area are exceptional, showing grades up to 4.42% lithium oxide, the highest grades encountered to date. We have completed just three drill holes and four channel samples at Aumacho since acquiring the Georgia Lake property as the majority of our investment was aimed at confirming historic resources in the Nama Creek area and upgrading these to NI 43-101 standards. Further exploration work here is certainly warranted as the Aumacho area represents excellent potential for increased lithium resources."
The exploration program targeted nine (9) of the known lithium-bearing pegmatite occurrences and has expanded on the wealth of knowledge obtained through past exploration programs that led to the Company's National Instrument ("NI") 43-101 resource estimate.
