Sri Lankan renewable energy firm Resus Energy has acquired small hydropower developer JB Power (Pvt) Ltd, expanding the company’s presence in the hydroelectric market.
JB Power currently has approvals to build a 700kW hydropower plant in Kegalle district in Sabaragamuwa Province, Sri Lanka. Resus Energy acquired the firm for 20.3 million rupees, local media reported.
