As per the order, REpower will supply 33 units of 2MW turbine and 14 high-performance units of 3MW turbine, with a combined generating capacity of 114.83MW to the seven wind farms.

All seven wind farms have a full maintenance contract for 15 years, with a further five-year option, and are expected to be developed at the end of next year or in 2013.

The 47 wind turbines will begin producing environmentally friendly electricity in the region from 2013 onwards.

Master agreements have been agreed with a buying syndicate under the direction of WEB Andresen.

REpower said the agreements are currently still under conditions precedent.
