China-based solar photovoltaic modules and wafers manufacturer ReneSola has entered into an agreement with Vitec Co for the supply of its solar modules.

As per the agreed terms, the company will supply 10MW of Virtus II modules for Mega Solar projects across Japan.

Commenting on the agreement, ReneSola chief executive officer Xianshou Li said the contract with Vitec will bolster the company’s position as a high-efficiency and cost-effective PV product supplier.

"We hope to continue working with Vitec as we expand our operations to deliver high-quality products and household PV solutions to the strategically important Japan market," added Li.

According to the company, the solar modules will be deployed in various solar projects ranging from 0.6 MW to 2.4 MW in size.
