Reliant Energy, an NRG Energy company, has expanded its service to residential customers in the US states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland.
The company said that depending on the state where they live and their local electric utility, the customers who switch to Reliant can save an average of 9% and as much as 23% on the power supply portion of their electricity bill.
Reliant Energy president Jason Few said the company offers great prices and the benefit of its experience in providing excellent customer service and innovative energy solutions.
The company currently serves 1.5 million customers including residential, small business and large commercial customers, primarily in Texas, US.
It also offers service to large commercial and industrial customers in Delaware, the District of Columbia, New Jersey, Illinois, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
