Questar, a natural gas-focused energy company, has promoted Charles Stanley to COO, effective March 1, 2008. The company also announced that Alan Allred, president and CEO of the company's utility subsidiary, Questar Gas, will retire later in 2008.
Mr Stanley is currently president and CEO of Questar’s subsidiary, Questar Market Resources, and also a Questar executive vice president and director. Mr Stanley will report to Keith Rattie, chairman, president and CEO of Questar.
Effective March 1, 2008, Ronald Jibson has been promoted to executive vice president of Questar Gas and senior vice president of Questar. In addition to his current responsibilities as vice president of operations, Mr Jibson will assume responsibility for the utility’s finance, accounting, regulatory, gas supply and other staff functions.
