With the addition of this line, the company said it has doubled the production capacity from 20MW per year to 40MW per year.
QSolar president and CEO Andreas Tapakoudes said this increased capacity from the company’s own manufacturing facility will lead to increased profit margins.
"We are anticipating further margin increases when the commercial production of the Kruciwatt cells begins," Tapakoudes said.
Headquartered in Calgary, Canada, QSolar develops, manufactures and sells solar photovoltaic modules.
