Infrastructure company PVR Projects has secured contracts for two projects in Maharashtra, India, valued at a total of Rs 386 crore (US$86.4M).

Factiva reports that, according to PVR Projects Executive Director P. Satish Kumar Reddy, the company will construct dam canal and other works for the Rs 104 crore (US$23.3M) Maharashtra-Deharji Medium project in Thane district, and build an earthern dam, including spillway and tailrace channel, for the Jigaon project in Kharigaon district, at a price of Rs 282 crore (US$63.1M).

The firm is in negotiations with financial advisers for private equity to fund its working capital requirements and project ventures.
