The 2014 diamond drill program targets the highly prospective Patterson Lake Corridor, which is an extension of the conductive trend along which the neighboring Fission/Alpha joint venture intersected high-grade uranium mineralization.
Purepoint president and CEO Chris Frostad said, "Based on the positive indicators for uranium deposition at the Hook Lake Project, well-established electromagnetic (EM) conductors and the local discovery of high grade uranium mineralization, the Joint Venture partners are fully supportive of these heightened efforts."
For a total budget of $2,500,000, the program involves approximately 5,000 metres of diamond drilling for the Hook Lake project which features nine claims totaling 28,683ha hectares.
Purepoint filed a National Instrument 43-101 compliant technical report on its Hook Lake uranium project on 27 November 2012.
