The news source quoted Pulawy’s CEO, Pawel Jarczewski, as saying that such a partnership will bring major cost savings to the tune of PLN100 million every year, to the company.
The state-controlled natural gas company PGNiG is planning to build a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Swinoujscie, Poland, by the 2011 year-end and will process 2.5 billion cubic meters of LNG per year, in a bid to reduce Poland’s dependence on Russian imports.
