Public Service of New Hampshire (PSNH) has appointed Bedford as its vice president (VP), energy delivery. In his new role, Ramsey will be responsible for oversight of planning, engineering, construction and maintenance of the company’s electrical distribution system, which stretches more than 14,000 miles. Previously, he led the PSNH customer service operations as a VP. Ramsey is currently vice chair of the board of directors of the Granite State Credit Union.

As VP, customer service operations, Ramsey was responsible for PSNH’s marketing, economic development, conservation and load management, facilities, security, and meter reading functional areas.

Ramsey is a New Hampshire native. In 2006, Ramsey took on a leadership role in the companywide customer services integration project for Northeast Utilities (NU), PSNH’s parent corporation. The project included the implementation of a new customer information system for NU’s 2.1 million customers.

Ramsey is currently treasurer of Neighbor Helping Neighbor, and a member of the board of directors of the New Hampshire Institute of Art and the New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association. He is a graduate of Leadership Greater Manchester and Leadership New Hampshire. He is also a VIP volunteer for Easter Seals New Hampshire and serves on the New Hampshire 2-1-1 advisory council.
