Situated in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, the Susquehanna nuclear facility is co-owned by PPL Susquehanna and Allegheny Electric Cooperative, and is operated by PPL Susquehanna.

The two-reactor plant produces approximately 63 million kilowatt of hours per day, and has been in operation since 1983.
