The awards include about $14m of new distributed generation (DG) business, around $5m in new energy efficiency (EE) sales and approximately $4m of additional utility infrastructure (UI) business.
The $14m in new DG awards include $8m of new sales for several hospital, data center, industrial, waste water and retail projects, and $6m in new PowerSecure-owned recurring revenue DG projects for a national retailer and two regional healthcare facilities.
The EE awards include projects to serve large ESCO customers by implementing energy efficiency improvements at several municipal facility and public school locations in Arizona, California, Florida, New Jersey and New York.
PowerSecure’s UI awards include substation, transmission and distribution work for ongoing utility system maintenance and construction projects.
PowerSecure chief executive officer Sidney Hinton said,"These new business awards across multiple business areas reflect the breadth of products and solutions we offer to utility, commercial and ESCO partners to deliver exceptional reliability, drive energy efficiency and generate meaningful cost-savings."
