The company is producing the inverters for sale in Canada’s residential, commercial and utility-grade markets at a 60,000sqft facility in Ontario.
By the end of 2010, Power-One will have the global capacity to annually produce more than 4GW of inverters, the company said.
Further, the company has undertaken initiatives to expand production in both Asia and North America, starting with this new facility in Ontario.
