PowerGenix and EnerSys have entered into a partnership for the production and distribution of energy storage products for industrial applications globally.
PowerGenix’ Nickel-Zinc (NiZn) batteries have been selected by EnerSys for inclusion into its product line and global sales channels.
The partnership requires EnerSys to develop, manufacture, and market large format, nickel-based solutions for industrial applications including reserve power, rail, defense, and aerospace.
EnerSys Europe president Ray Kubis said PowerGenix technology combined with the company’s own nickel-based product application and production experience provides a unique platform for its customers to benefit from this technology.
PowerGenix is a manufacturer of high performance, rechargeable NiZn batteries.
EnerSys is engaged in stored energy solutions for industrial applications, manufactures and distributes reserve power and motive power batteries, chargers, power equipment, and battery accessories to customers globally.
