The XPGe12.48 raises the bar for high efficiency in medium-size rectifiers, by providing efficiency exceeding 95% across a wide load range, the company said.

To accompany the new rectifier, Power-One is also releasing the iPWER Aspiro Front Access platform, combining high efficiency with user-friendly front access in a compact 2U (19’/ETSI) format.

The new Aspiro platform supports up to four XPGe units and 4.8kW of power output, while offering flexible DC distribution capability derived from its pluggable circuit breakers and system controller.

The Aspiro Front Access management functions, coupled with the XPGe’s high efficiency and 21.8W/in3 of power density, facilitate the reduction of operating costs and carbon footprints in space-critical applications, through decreases in energy, cooling and site management expenses.
