THE PORTLAND CEMENT Association is sponsoring a two-day seminar and construction tour on roller compacted concrete (RCC) for dams and dam rehabilitation in San Diego, California on 26-27 August 2002.
This seminar will feature three of the world’s most experienced RCC experts with Ernie Schrader, Malcolm Dunstan and Brian Forbes participating, along with other internationally known speakers.
The seminar will offer delegates the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in the design, construction, operation, and performance of RCC structures worldwide and the lessons learned over the last 22 years.
A tour of Olivenhain dam, currently under construction as the largest RCC gravity dam in North America, will be conducted.
