The Polyfelt Group has introduced a new generation of polyfelt.Rock geogrids. Polyfelt.Rock GX can be produced with tensile strengths up to 400kN/m, thereby covering almost all geotechnical applications, says the company.
The new product, polyfelt.Rock GX, supplements and partly replaces the old polyfelt.Rock G product range. Like its predecessor, polyfelt.Rock GX is made of high strength polyester yarns with a polymeric coating. Its open structure and surface roughness guarantee optimum interlock with the soil. It improves the tensile strength and thus the bearing capacity of the soil. Seepage water can pass easily and cannot affect the bearing capacity of the fill material. Due to its flexibility, the range is easy to install.
Correct application of the new geogrid product generation is ensured by the Polyfelt design and installation service.
