The15.4MW wind farm employs five Vestas V112 3.0MW turbines and generates clean electricity that is enough to power around 13,000 four person households. It is nearly fully commissioned as most of the wind turbines are already connected to the grid, the company claims.
PNE Wind will manage the technical operation of the wind farm, following the completion of the project.
Commenting on the transaction, PNE Wind CEO Martin Billhardt said that the company is pleased with the outcome of this first project with CEE, which was successfully carried out in a timely fashion before the end of 2013.
PNE Wind executive vice president Roland Stanze said, "In light of our large portfolio of wind projects, we have no trouble imagining this being the basis of a strong and long term cooperation in Germany and abroad."
Meanwhile, the long term debt financing for the project was provided by HSH Nordbank.
