Plambeck Neue Energien AG (Plambeck) has already completed concentration on the central business of wind-farm projecting onshore and offshore. In future, this strategic re-alignment shall also to be visible in the name of the enterprise. The board of directors and the supervisory board are therefore suggesting a change of the corporate name to PNE Wind AG (PNE Wind) to the shareholders' meeting taking place in Cuxhaven on May 14, 2009.
The company is on a consistent growth course, chairman of the board Martin Billhardt explains the suggestion. With the projecting of wind-farms, we are pursuing a sustainable, focussed and independent business model. We wish to document our central competence and the increasing international alignment even more strongly by the new name and the addition to the company logo ‘Passion for Energy’. In addition, the new company name also reduces the risk of confusions with former affiliated companies. At the same time, in the Chairman of the Board’s opinion, the new name also underlines the continuity in the corporate development. For this reason, we are convinced that we are showing the profile and the alignment of the company to the outside concisely with ‘PNE Wind AG’ and are simultaneously building a bridge between the past and the future.
