The resignation was submitted to the chairman of the supervisory board. Mr Heydel indicated that his resignation is in the overall interest of the company as the current formula for co-operation within the framework of the management board has been exhausted.
From November 1, 2004 till June 6, 2008, Mr Heydel held the position of vice president of the management board for sales.
From February 28, 2008 till June 6, 2008 he was the acting president of the PKN Orlen management board. Mr Heydel has held the position of president of the management board since June 7, 2008.
