The well with 77% oil content, has been completed in the Wolfcamp B interval at perforated lateral length of 6,671ft, by using 27-stage hybrid fracture stimulation.

Pioneer said the initial 24-hour peak natural flow rate at the Mabee K #1H well is similar to the initial 24-hour peak natural flow rate of DL Hutt C #1H well, which is the company’s first Wolfcamp Shale B interval well in Midland County, Texas.

The DL Hutt C #1H well’s 24-hour peak natural flow rate was 1,693 BOEPD with 75% oil content.

The well was drilled using 30-stage hybrid fracture stimulation at perforated lateral length of 7,380ft.

The comparable 24-hour peak natural flow rate at the Mabee K #1H well is higher than DL Hutt C #1H well at 1,739 BOEPD.
