Pine Valley generated revenue of about $25m during the last 12 months, and its president Michael Horan will retain the same position.
Pike Electric said this acqusition will allow it to construct and maintain transmission and distribution infrastructure throughout the West Coast region of the US.
Pine Valley president Mike Horan said joining the Pike family of companies gives Pine the resources to pursue more and larger projects as it works to dramatically grow its business.
"Our customers have been looking for us to take on larger, more complex projects and with Pike’s backing that will now be possible," Horan said.
