The installation will be placed on the roof of the Upper Silesian water utility company, Gornoslaskie Przedsiebiorstwo Wodociagow (GPW), which will also act as an investor in the project.
In partnership with Photon Energy, RenCraft Sp won the public tender to design and construct a photovoltaic installation on the roof of the GPW’s premises in Ruda Slaska.
Photon Engineering, a subsidiary of Photon Energy, will provide engineering works, technology procurement and construction services.
Construction on the solar power project is expected to be completed in mid 2012.
