The value of the contract has not been disclosed.
As a part of the contract, Jacobs will license its SUPERCLAUS technology to PETRONAS for the project work.

The SUPERCLAUS technology developed by Jacobs includes features that reduce sulfur emissions, enhance reliability, improve sulfur recovery levels, and aid in achieving consistent operations.
PETRONAS is developing the sulfur plant as a part of its refinery and petrochemical integrated development (RAPID) Project site in the state of Johor, Malaysia.
The company is planning to set up a refinery and petrochemicals complex to provide high-value products to the downstream plants as per the European clean fuel standards.
