UK-based energy sector services provider Petrofac's facilities management business has won two North Sea project awards from Venture Production.
The first award, which has been made to Petrofac facilities management’s Brownfield team, is for the Grouse development which is located approximately 7km to the east of the Kittiwake platform and forms part of the Greater Kittiwake area.
The development plan is to route production from the single production well via the previously installed Goosander Bundle. The Petrofac Brownfield team will be responsible for designing and installing all associated topside modifications on the Kittiwake platform.
The second award, which is also to Petrofac Brownfield, is for a front-end engineering and design contract for brownfield modifications to the normally unmanned Audrey-B platform as part of the Ensign development.
The award includes a commitment that, following project sanction, all Ensign topsides construction and installation scopes will also be awarded to Petrofac Brownfield.
