Centrica Storage has extended services contract with Petrofac for two years for the 8A platform in the Rough field, which is scheduled to commence operations in January 2016.
EnQuest has extended its contract with Petrofac for another five years combining the services of an existing facilities management agreement.
Under the extension contract with EnQuest, Petrofac will continue to serve as duty holder of the Kittiwake platform, with a brownfield engineering modifications contract.
Petrofac will leverage on its operating experience of the Kittiwake platform to improve the platform’s efficiencies and savings.
Petrofac Offshore Projects and Operations managing director Walter Thain said: "We’ve enjoyed productive and long-standing relationships with our customers in the UKCS and these contracts are a great demonstration of how we can continue to work in partnership to efficiently deliver in line with their individual business and operational needs and our own standards."
The contract extensions represent second such renewal contract in UKCS.
In June 2015, Petrofac had secured $400m contract renewals for maintenance and operations works on the UKCS from customers including CNR International and Eni.
Under the contract with CNR International, Petrofac is responsible for providing operations and maintenance services to its North Sea assets for next five years, including three platforms in the Ninian complex; Murchison; and Tiffany.
Eni had awarded a two-year contract extension to Petrofac to provide operations and maintenance services for the Douglas fixed platforms, Offshore Storage Installation and Point of Ayr terminal; and Duty Holder responsibility for the Irish Sea Pioneer operations support vessel.
