The projects will expand the provision of gas in northern, eastern, central and northwestern regions of China and lay and will a base to the networking of China’s natural gas pipelines. The pipeline is planned to be concluded in 2010.
PetroChina’s second West-to-East gas pipeline will begin from the Amur River in Turkmenistan to Horgus in northwestern China’s Xinjiang Uygur autonomous area, and extend to South China’s Guangdong area.
