Petrichor to acquire 50% working interest in Marble Falls Property

The participation agreement for the 7,045 acre prospect is subject to receipt of regulatory approvals.

The company intends to target the Marble Falls Prospect’s Mississippi Lime, a Mississippian age porous limestone formation and Marble Falls formation, a Pennsylvanian age limestone located in the North and Central Texas.

More than 50 vertical and horizontal multi-stage fracked wells have been drilled by independent operators in the prospect and the Mississippi limestone.

Canada-based Petichor Energy is an emerging oil and gas company.
