Peregrine’s 2015 Diamond Resource Development program is designed confirm the grade estimates and assess in valuation of diamonds recovered from the kimberlite pipes.
These bulk sampled kimberlites will be included in a planned 2016 preliminary economic assessment in a planned Phase 1 diamond mine development.
Based on the results, the company will prepare maiden resource estimates for CH-7 and CH-44 and update the CH-6 resource.
Drilling commenced on the first of planned six holes at the CH-7 kimberlite. This hole has a total depth of 220m and is one of those planned to provide grade confirmation and representative diamonds for the KIM-2 unit.
Peregrine Diamonds has discovered 71 kimberlites to date at Chidliak project with eight being potentially economic.
