Derived from the bidding process 18575106-018-09, PEP’s decision was favorable to the technical and financial proposals submitted by Diavaz Underwater Construction Co., as it met the requirements requested.
PEMEX said that the amount of the contract will be MXN137,754,657, plus $33.2 million, to be exercised for a period of 270 calendar days, with date of commencement of the works on August 25, 2009.
Platform EK-TB is in the EK field, which produced around 24,500 b/d of oil in June 2009. This is the field’s highest production level in the last 15 years, since it produced 24,700 b/d in August 1994.
