The two development projects will be included in the 270MW South Kent wind farm located in the Regional Municipality of Chatham-Kent, Ontario.

Pattern and Samsung are jointly developing the South Kent facility this year.

Pattern CEO Mike Garland said the companies will be able to accelerate the development of these projects by combining them with near by South Kent wind farm and its transmission connection.

Samsung senior executive vice president Cheol-Woo Lee said in addition to closing on these projects the companies are closing on thousands of acres in southwestern Ontario and the Bruce region for the development of more than 500MW of wind power.
