Scotland based Paradigm Oilfield Services has received a $400,000 contract to supply equipment for a drilling operation in Greenland.

The company will supply 18 tools including a dual stage hole opener known as ‘The Beast’ and stabilizers.

Paradigm Oilfield Services chairman Fraser Innes said Greenland has untapped oil and gas reserves and there is a growing interest in drilling activity.

Greenland’s government distributed seven prospecting blocs in the Baffin Bay, west of Greenland, among eight oil companies in November last year.

Paradigm Oilfield Services is a subsidiary of Netherland’ Paradigm Group.
