Pacific Sensor Technologies Pty Ltd (Pacific Sensor Technologies), an Australian-based provider of hand held and fixed industrial instruments, has introduced the PAT-7021 water-proof pen tester, which can measure the conductivity, total dissolved solids (TDS), salt and temperature of liquids. The PAT-7021 water-proof pen tester can measure TDS in milligrams per litre, parts per million or parts per thousand and can display salt levels in parts per thousand or percentages.

Pacific Sensor Technologies said that the conductivity can determine the level of impurities in water supplies used for both domestic and industrial consumption.

The PAT-7021 water-proof pen tester will feature an IP-57 rated housing which can float on water. It also has an LCD display that can show the four factors simultaneously and a keyboard for calibration.

Pacific Sensor Technologies said that the PAT-7021 water-proof pen tester can be used in the chemical, water treatment, food and beverage, mining and pulp and paper industries.
