Pacific Water Treatment Engineering has selected a membrane bioreactor (MBR) technology for Zhangjiagang JinGang sewage teatment.
The system is designed to handle an annual average flow of 25,000 cubic meters/d, with peaks of about 36,000 cubic meters/d.
KMS will commence the delivery of membrane modules in early 2012.
Water Treatment Engineering board chairman George Shen said the PURON submerged MBR modules have energy efficient design and smallest footprint.
Features of PURON PSH 1500 module include an optimized permeate extraction manifold and air supply lines reduce the number of piping connections during installation.
