Paa Natural Gas Storage has received the necessary regulatory approvals and placed cavern well #3 into service at its Pine Prairie storage facility.
This 10bcf cavern increases the company’s working gas storage capacity at Pine Prairie by approximately 70% from 14bcf to 24bcf and increases its aggregate working capacity by 25% from 40bcf to approximately 50bcf.
Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Paa Natural Gas Storage is engaged in the development, acquisition, operation and commercial management of natural gas storage facilities. It currently owns and operates two natural gas storage facilities located in Louisiana and Michigan that have an aggregate working gas storage capacity of approximately 50bcf.
The company’s general partner, as well as majority of its limited partner interests, is owned by Plains All American Pipeline.
