The wind farms have a total capacity of 328MW.

Outland Energy Services president and CEO Steve Scott said the team is excited to expand its service offering to an industry leader like Xcel Energy.

"I’m especially proud of our technicians who have performed exceptionally well at Xcel’s Grand Meadow location over the past 20 months," said Scott.

Outland Energy Services vice president and general counsel Cam Winton said, "Outland looks forward to providing safe, high-quality services as we optimize the performance of Xcel’s wind farms."

The company will provide full-time services for the 201MW Nobles wind farm in Nobles County and the 100.5MW Grand Meadow wind farm in Mower County in Minnesota.

Outland will provide full-time services for the 26.5MW Ponnequin site located in Colorado.

The wind farm will employ both Vestas 660 kW and NEG-Micon 750 kW wind turbines.
