Located 32km west of the island of Sylt on the German/Danish border, the wind farm features 80 3.6MW turbines that generate enough energy for 360,000 homes.
The wind farm was connected to the Sylwin Alpha Convertor platform. OMM worked on several phases, which included various pre-lay grapnel runs and route clearances.
OMM has also performed pull-in operations and crew transfers, and provided five guard vessels during cable installation work.
OMM operations manager Paul Hampton said: "Our philosophy for the completion of the separate phases of the Butendiek project was the continuity of the experienced onshore and offshore personnel, as well as a commonality in the equipment provided and the utilisation of project specific procedures and processes."
The Butendiek project area is located within the exclusive economic zone close to the German-Danish border.
The project, which is being developed by WPD, has recently pumped first power. The first of 24 wind turbines installed to date has commenced production and is feeding electricity into the grid.
All foundations, cables and the wind farm’s substation were installed in 2014.
