In October 2014, OJSC "Turboatom" completed to produce the guide vane for Novosibirskaya HPP (station No. 5) factory No. 3.
The equipment has been tested and is ready for shipment. In the course of November, the company’s specialists will make the runner, execute its assembly, functional tests and it will be handed over to the Customer. Mechanisms of the turbine will be manufactured as well.
OJSC "Turboatom" is performing the modernization of seven ??-20-B-800 Kaplan type hydroturbines replacing the runners with a diameter of 8 m at Novosibirskaya HPP.
The enterprise will also supply embedded parts, mechanisms of the turbines including guide vanes, shafts of the turbines, bearings, seals, etc. Currently, 1 turbine is modernized and is being commissioned, 1 turbine is being prepared for launching, 1 turbine is being manufactured and its shipment is scheduled for 2014.
The modernization is carried out in two stages. The first stage is the supply and installation of the turbine without replacing the generator, resulting from it, the capacity of the unit will increase from 58,6 to 72 MW. At the second stage, after the reconstruction of the generator the design capacity will increase up to 82 MW.
