Paulo Mendonca, presently exploration and production officer, will take up the place of general executive officer additionally to his current position, managing the daily activities of the company and reporting to the CEO.

Landim will concentrate on the development of latest ventures, mainly infrastructure projects for the EBX Group. Earlier to joining OGX, Landim served as CEO for MMX, another EBX operating company, from 2006 to March 2008. Landim will carry on to be a member of the board of OGX.

Mendonca entered OGX in July 2007, subsequent over 34 years at Petrobras, where he held several of senior roles, including general manager and, later, executive manager, of the exploration division. Under his guidance, the success ratio of Petrobras exploratory team raised considerably, resulting in the discovery of over 9 billion barrels of oil equivalent in 50 fields from 2002 to 2007 and the first discovery is currently famous pre-salt cluster of the Santos basin.
